Deb was born in Logan, Utah and was the third of eight children, spending most of her early years residing in Pocatello, Idaho. At the age of eight her father was called to serve a religious mission in Seoul, Korea. She resided there until the age of eleven when she returned once again to Pocatello, finishing high school and taking a few secretarial classes at the local technical college. In the Fall of 1981, Deb ventured out on her own and moved to Arvada, Colorado where she started her career with ANR Freight Systems. In the Spring of 1984 she married and returned to Utah, securing employment with the State of Utah in their Aging and Family Services Program as an Ombudsman. After twelve years of service, Deb made the decision to become a full-time mom to her six children.
In November of 2007, Deb interviewed for a part-time administrative assistant position with Dale Black, Investment Advisor Representative with Global View Capital Advisors, located in Lehi, Utah. She continued part-time until her children were grown, going to full-time status in October of 2011. She continues to assist Dale, as well as numerous part-time advisors.
Deb is insurance and health licensed, and will soon be qualified as an Investment Advisor. She enjoys her 23 grandchildren, and spends many hours volunteering with the Utah County Mounted Search and Rescue.
